News, Closures, deadlines, and classes.
We regret to inform you that Eleanor’s Bake Shop will be closing its doors permanently on Saturday, August 5, 2017. We know that this will come as a shock to those who are reading this letter. We love our customers. Some of you have been with us since the very beginning; we’ve memorized your names, faces and even many of your orders. You have been a blessing to us and YOU are the reason we have kept the business opened for all these years. Oh how we love you! No amount of words can describe how grateful we are for your support.
This has not come easily for our family and we have wrestled with this decision for several years. We opened Eleanor’s Bake Shop nearly 7 years ago with a desire to provide delicious gluten-free food to the community. It was important for us to make all of our products with only the highest quality ingredients. While we have considered changing our ingredients to increase profits, quality is much more important to us. We’ve also considered a location change, which wasn’t financially feasible, and the use of a food truck, which brought no success. We wish we had the ability to make this work. However, after working for 7 years with little to no pay, we can no longer pour endless time, effort and money into a business that isn’t profitable.
We want to be able to continue to provide high-quality, gluten-free products to you and your family by providing Eleanor’s flour for your use at home. We have plans to continue to sell our blends and mixes online and are considering the possibility of using our food truck as a mobile store. We will continue to produce our cooking class vlog on YouTube in conjunction with our recipe blog as a resource for you at home (www.eleanorsrecipes.wordpress.com).
In the meantime, we ask for your continued support as we make this transition. Thanks again for all your support over the years. We hope to see you all in the next few months!

We will be closed on Saturday, April 1, 2017, as well as an early closure on Saturday, April 15, 2017 for the Easter Holiday.
Breakfast is served the third Saturday of every month, unless stated otherwise. Breakfast is served from 9-10:30.
We will be hosting a baking class on April 22nd. We will be teaching you how to make bagels and microwave mug cakes!
